Bluetongue virus (BTV) and epizootic hemorrhagic disease virus (EHDV)
The IDEXX RealPCR BTV/EHDV RNA Mix is used for the identification of bluetongue virus (BTV) RNA and epizootic hemorrhagic disease virus (EHDV) RNA when combined with the shared reagents of the IDEXX RealPCR platform. Samples can be tested simultaneously with any other IDEXX RealPCR reagents using shared reagents and a single real-time PCR program.
An internal control is part of that mix and is based on the detection of endogenous ruminant (bovine, ovine and caprine) RNA present in the sample and is referred to as the internal sample control (ISC).
