INgene® q Brucella spp. is a real-time PCR kit for the detection of Brucella DNA in samples from Cattle, Small ruminants, Swine, Rabbit, Equine, Cats, Dogs. The assay is optimized for samples like vaginal/endocervical secretions, placenta, fetal tissues, blood, milk and strains/vaccines. This kit detects the pathogen DNA in FAM channel and includes an Endogenous Control (HEX/VIC), making it a duplex real-time PCR in one-well format, allowing identification of false negatives due to poor extraction and/or PCR inhibition.
