This ready-to-use, qualitative Triplex detection kit simultaneously detects in real time:
- A target sequence specific to the EHDV, conserved in all known serotypes from EHDV-1 to EHDV-8, including in the EHDV-8 strain recently isolated in Tunisia, Italy and Spain (serotype 8, Tun-2021), in the FAM™ channel.
- A target sequence specific to the BTV, conserved in all known genotypes, including in the atypical BTV-25 strains and the strains recently isolated in Europe (BTV-3 NL-2023, BTV-8 FR-2023 and and BTV-4 Corse 2023), in the VIC®/ HEX™ channel.
- A sequence specific to a ubiquitous gene, inherently present in ruminant cells (NTPCen), in order to validate the integrity of the sample and the quality of the nucleic acid extraction, in the Cy5 channel.
